HOSPITALS in Lincolnshire were urged to improve in several areas, including safeguarding people from abuse.

The Care Quality Commission (CQC), which regulates health and adult social care, will make the calls in a report published today.

The formal review follows an unannounced inspection at Lincoln County Hospital in June, which assessed whether the trust was designer shoes jimmy adhering to new quality and safety standards that came into effect on April 1.

Inspectors said although there were examples of good quality care, the trust was not fully meeting four standards relating to safeguarding people from abuse, respecting and involving people who use service, medicine management and supporting workers.

Although the breaches were not deemed as "immediate risks" to safety, the CQC said the trust must improve in the four areas.
